ABOUT ShabU-SHABU:

Shabu-shabu is a Japanese version of the Hotpot. It uses thinly sliced meat, vegetables, and tofu. And is served with rice and sauces. Shabu-shabu was introduced in Japan in the 20th century from China.  The name Shabu-Shabu was coined after a restaurant in Osaka called "Suehiro" first served it. Suehiro registered the name "Shabu-shabu" as a trademark in 1955.

This dish is now very popular in Japan, Asia and in the US.
